These programmes MUM2B, Yoga for Birthing, Mummy&Me have been specifically developed to support and nurture a Yogini on her personal journey from being a woman to becoming a mother. For many this might be the very first time that they reach out to yoga and a teacher to support them through the amazing transitions from pregnancy, birthing and motherhood. I have been hugely privileged to have supported so many amazing women and to have been part of their journey into motherhood.

MUM2B

The pregnancy classes are comprehensive and nourishing and welcome both complete beginners and experienced Yogis. The classes will carefully take you through a complete range of breathing techniques, to prepare for labour and clam the mind, specific stretches which can help with common pregnancy ailments and exercises to strengthen and prepare you for your birth. All making you feel stronger, more centered and focused. Plus, you will also meet other Mums-2-be!

MUM2B

Yoga for Birth

Yoga for Birth  workshop is a complete birth preparation course. It will give time for you and your birth partner to explore active birth positions, learning birth breathing, pain relieving massage and more. The programme is a all encompassing birth education programme and has been fully researched and created in conjunction with a Yoga Alliance approved school and totally compatible with other antenatal offerings.

 

Yoga for Birth

Mummy&Me

The four week course focuses on new mothers and their Postnatal recovery. We work on our mats on targeting areas gently but firmly, building core and pelvis strength, taking care of your back and spine and releasing tension in the upper back.  You can safely  practice yoga with your baby by your side as DBS checked.

The course is suitable from 6 weeks after a natural birth, or 8 weeks after a c-section.  As with any exercise after birth, it is always a good idea to get the all clear from your doctor before you start classes. These are courses can be run on demand, so if you and a group of new mums would like to organise a course, please get in contact.

  • Practicing yoga relieves many common pregnancy ailments, such as back ache, heart-burn, insomnia and PGD.

  • Prepare for birth including how to breathe and move and relax during labour and birth.

  • Practice essential movements to help babies into optimal positions to help encourage smoother births.

  • Connect with your babies and take time out to enjoy being pregnant!

  • Meet other lovely mamas-to-be in your local area, build your network of support and friendship by connecting in with others in your community.
